AeroOne™ Newsletter

June 2025

Dear Aeros:

In our December, 2024 Newsletter I warned about looming reductions in North America airline capacity. Reductions, particularly on the secondary cross-border routes, are accelerating. The airlines and mainstream news are blaming it all on Trump tariffs. I disagree. TDS offers a convenient excuse for all of today's issues. But it's still deranged. The inconvenient truth is cross-border capacity has been on the decline since 2023 following a brief post-covid uptick. The biggest drop is being felt on shorter secondary direct routes. See: Airlines cutting cross border flights and Airlines are a disaster, JD Power. Passengers may not be aware of capacity cutting because last-minute equipment changes to smaller aircraft can disguise things while allowing airlines to maintain high ticket prices.

For those of you who travel regularly on the airlines what has your experience been? Same or reduced service? What about price and reliability? Would love to hear your thoughts. Email me at info@aeroone.org.

Happy Flying,

PS, Netjets is trying to break into the Vancouver, BC market. For those going to the June event, we will be there too. DO NOT sign with them til you speak to us.

Topic of the Month - Why Fractional Jet Ownership Might be Costing you More Than you Think.

This month, we challenge conventional wisdom in private aviation. While fractional ownership is often sold as a flexible and cost-effective alternative to full ownership, many flyers are unaware of the hidden fees, scheduling constraints, and asset depreciation that erode value over time.

We compare the true long-term costs of fractional vs. Jet Card v. whole ownership AeroOne style to demonstrate that buying smart in today’s market could secure your freedom, privacy, and capital.

Ready to own your time? Let’s talk.

PS: Think operating a pre-owned aircraft 400 hours a year is costly and unreliable? Try running an equivalent new fractional aircraft at 800 to 900 hours a year or more to accommodate all the additional "owners". The new one gets tired and breaks much faster than AeroOne's pre-owned offerings. Just ask a Netjet's pilot. (We have.) The fractionals are flying the crap out of their aircraft and it shows.
