Dear Aeros: 

To me, the last week of August marks the end of summer. Just as I used to take a brief pause between my summer job and back to school, I like to set aside some quiet time this time of year to reflect on our business year to date--the good, the bad, and the downright ugly. And gear up for the final push for the year.  

Here are a few random thoughts to share as I ponder....

1. 2025 YTD has been good to Genex Capital, our sister company, a US nationwide financial services business. We recently achieved complete vertical integration making us the second largest company in our industry. Having a business jet has greatly contributed to our 42 percent annual compounded growth rate in each of the last five years. Owning a business that stretches across the country requires regular in-person meetings, sometimes two or three a day, each in a different city. AeroOne delivers that capability. This past week Genex served its 50,000th customer after 22 years of business.

2. Our strength is our people. We must and shall continue to invest in human resources as both businesses continue to grow. 

3. Genex and AeroOne are in counter cyclical industries. Whereas the last five years have been focused on growing the financial services during challenging economic times, the next five years will be about pivoting to respond to what is expected to be an unprecedented demand for private business jet travel. The time has not arrived yet, but it soon will. With a current fleet of  17 aircraft and dozens of full-time pilots we have a base upon which to grow.

4. After decades of research and observation I am of the firm opinion that the AeroOne model of shared jet ownership (not fractional) is the way to go for most small business owners. After all, none of us are in the Fortune 100 category with money to literally burn. 

5. It appears almost certain now that the Fed will lower interest rates at their September meeting. While rates are not expected to go down a lot, there seems to be an increasing belief that things have stabilized. We shall see. 

6. The ability to pack up and airlift a two-table display along with our corporate crew to Chicago for a two-day National Index Forum conference that Genex co-sponsored is an incredible capability that is not taken for granted.
