Message From Our President
Dear Aeros:
Fun Facts from Last Month's 8 City in 9 Days Extravaganza
As you will recall I mentioned our whirlwind 8 citys, 9 days business trip in last month's President's Message. We flew four passengers. Here is a brief cost/benefit analysis:
Costs
Expenses include all direct operating costs, fuel, engine MSP, pilot expenses (hotel, per diem, car rental etc), catering, car service transfers etc. Excluded is the monthly fixed management fee.
Total expenses = $46,299.00
Total flight hours = 16.5
Total cost per hour = $2,806.06
Total cost per passenger = $11,575.00.
AeroOne's budgeted hourly rate = $3,700.00. We beat our budget by 24 percent.
Try matching that price with charter, Netjets, jet card or most other wholly-owned options! (This is what comes up on XO. XO (one of the largest US charter companies) claims they can't do the mission in a light jet. That's because they don't have a 35A.)

Benefits
Since our return four weeks ago, revenues generated from new reoccurring business = $142,500.00 or $1.7million annualized.
Cost/Benefit Analysis
One Month ROI = 3x
One Year ROI (projected) = 36x
Still pondering whether jets are a luxury or business necessity?
I rest my case. The sky is the limit on what can be achieved when adding on-demand flexible airlift to one's marketing/sales strategy. The possibilities are endless.
In other news, Laurent Beaudoin, the original owner of my personal jet for 12 years won this year's NBAA Meritorious Service to Aviation Award. Mr. Beaudoin was Bombardier's CEO and Chairman who was instrumental in transforming the company into, arguably, the dominant player in the heavy business jet OEM world (Sorry Gulfstream and Falconjet). Bombardier's Global Express is arguably the best business jet in the world today.
As always, if you are looking to explore the world of private aviation, let's talk. We are here to help.
Happy Flying,
Roger Proctor, CEO
